In Epic, go to:
Demographics tab on left of chart
"Contact info" tab or "Clinical Info" tab (bottom, "Permanent Comments" section)
Check previous telephone messages from pt to see if they have left a different # in the recent past
Check last progress note to see if there is a phone # documented in it
Letter
Send a letter if this is a non-urgent issue
Telegram
Yes, we still use these at IMA! Reaches the pt in 1-2 days. Fill out the telegram form and give it to the firm RN.
